## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 04/20/2009 AT APPROXIMATELY 1920 LOCAL TIME ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THE PILOT OF N901GH AN EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT. DEPARTED ENUMCLAW MUNICIPAL AIRPORT. AFTER REACHING AN ALTITUDE OF ABOUT 2000 FEET MSL THE PILOT LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT ELEVATOR. THE PILOT THEN SHUT DOWN THE ENGINE AND DEPLOYED THE AIRCRAFT RECOVERY PARACHUTE. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED IN A PASTURE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
