## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS ACTING AS PILOT IN COMMAND OF N525H A LTA AEROSTAR INTERNATIONAL. IN AN ATTEMPT TO LAND AT THE LIONS PARK HE MISJUDGED HIS DECENT AND UNDERSHOT HIS INTENDED LANDING POINT. IN DOING SO, HE BOUNCED OFF AN ELECTRICAL WIRE, RECOVERED AND LANDED SAFELY. THE LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDED FROM A HALF A BLOCK AND LOCAL POWER COMPANY WAS CONTACTED. THERE WAS MINOR DAMAGE TO THE BALLOON BASKET AND MINOR REPAIR NEEDED TO THE ELECTRICAL WIRE. THERE WAS NO FIRE OR DOWNED ELECTRICAL LINES IN THIS INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
