(-23) ON MAY 10, 2009 T 1515 MST, N356JB, AN AMERICAN CHAMPION, REGISTERED TO THE PILOT MADE AN OFF RUNWAY LANDING AT ANGLE FIRE, NM AFTER A GUST OF WIND CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO LEAVE THE GROUND PREMATURELY DURING THE TAKEOFF ROLL ON RUNWAY 17. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME FOR THIS PART 91 FLIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AND THE PRIATE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
