## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR09LA268](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR09LA268), May 28, 2009: Maule M-5-210C (N315X), Ogden, UT, substantial damage. Probable cause: A loss of engine power during takeoff for undetermined reasons.

## Other reports on N315X (2)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19870530034539I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19870530034539I), May 30, 1987: Maule M5210C (N315X), Ogden, UT, Minor damage. Directional control was lost during rollout. A wind shift with accompanying gust was a factor.
- [Incident 19840702057149I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19840702057149I), Jul 2, 1984: Maule M5210C (N315X), Hailey, ID, Minor damage. Lost control while landing in gusty winds.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
