## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON FINAL APPROACH TO RUNWAY 31, HE EXTENDED THE LANDING GEAR AND GOT A GREEN LIGHT. HE VARIFYED GEAR DOWN BY VISUALLY CHECKING THE MIRRORS. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ON THE LEFT GEAR FIRST FOLLOWED BY THE RIGHT GEAR AND LASTLY THE NOSE GEAR. ON ROLLOUT THE LEFT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED. THE LEFT WING TIP TANK AND PROPELLER STRUCK THE GROUND. THE AIRCRAFT SLID TO A STOP WITH THE NOSE GEAR 12" OFF THE EDGE OF THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
