## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ DEPARTED RUNWAY 4 AND WAS MAKING A RIGHT TURN JUST PAST THE HILL TO HIS RIGHT. HIS AIRSPEED IMMEDIATELY DECREASED, AND THE AIRPLANE BECAME MUSHEY. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ HAD ENCOUNTERED A WIND CHANGE SWIRLING BETWEEN 2 HILLS WHICH CAUSED THE AIRSPEED DECREASE. THE AIRPLANE CONTINUED TO LOSE ALTITUDE AND HIT AN ELECTRICAL LINE NEAR THE ROAD THEN COLLIDED WITH THE TERRAIN. THE PILOT EXITED THE AIRPLANE THROUGH A BROKEN CANOPY AND THE AIRPLANE CAUGHT FIRE AND PARTIALLY BURNED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
