## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT/OWNER STATES THAT HE WAS LANDING AT KSQL IN A CROSSWIND USING A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF RUDDER AND AILERON CONTROL IN ORDER TO KEEP THE AIRCRAFT FROM YAWNING AND DRIFTING OFF THE RUNWAY CENTER LINE. UPON LANDING ON RUNWAY 30, THE PILOT STATES HE MAY HAVE TOUCHED THE BRAKE ON THE RIGHT RUDDER PEDAL AND DRIFTED OFF OF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT FURTHER STATES HE ALLOWED THE AIRCRAFT TO DRIFT OFF OF THE RUNWAY BECAUSE HE WORRIED THAT CORRECTING THE AIRCRAFT DRIFT WOULD HAVE RESULTED IN AN OVERCORRECTION. THE AIRCRAFT STOPPED ON TAXIWAY "L" LOCATED BETWEEN TAXIWAY "C" AND "D".

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
