## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT WAS IN TRAINING TO BE AN AGRICULTURE PILOT AND WAS USING WATER IN THE HOPPER FOR PRACTICE, HE WAS SOLO. HE MADE A PASS OVER A FIELD SPRAYING; HE PULLED UP AND WAS TURNING BACK TO THE FIELD TO SET UP A NEW SPRAY LINE AND THEN REALIZED THAT HE NEEDED A STEEPER BANK TO MAKE THE FIELD, HE DID SO AND AS A RESULT LOST AIRSPEED AND ENTERED A STALL AND MADE CONTACT WITH GROUND.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA09CA319](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA09CA319), Jun 3, 2009: Cessna A188B (N9364R), Kingstree, SC, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain adequate airspeed while maneuvering, which resulted in an aerodynamic stall.

## Other reports on N9364R (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Accident 19800802033149A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19800802033149A), Aug 2, 1980: Cessna A188B (N9364R), Moultrie, GA, Substantial damage. Ag pilot crashed at end of runway after attempted takeoff.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
