## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHILE ENROUTE TO FXE THE FLIGHT CREW HEARD A LOUD NOISE COMING FROM THE LEFT SIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT WHICH LASTED FOR TEN MINUTES RESULTING IN THE LOW HYDRAULIC PRESSURE LIGHT TO BECOME ILLUMINATED. THE PIC DIVERTED TO PBI AND LANDED THE AIRCRAFT. AN INSPECTION REVEALED THAT THE LEFT HYDRAULIC PUMP HAD FAILED WHICH ALSO RESULTED IN FLUID CONTAMINATION THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. MAINTENANCE WAS PERFORMED ON THE AIRCRAFT BY THE REPLACEMENT OF HYDRAULIC COMPONENTS AND THE FLUSHING OF THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. A TEST FLIGHT WAS PERFORMED SATIFACTORY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
