## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THIS WAS AN INSTRUMENT CURRENCY FLIGHT SO 2 PILOTS WERE THE MINIMUM FLIGHT CREW REQUIRED. BOTH PILOTS CONFIRMED THAT THE LANDING GEAR WAS DOWN AND LOCKED BEFORE LANDING THE AIRCRAFT. UPON LANDING ON RUNWAY 17 AT DECATUR MUNICIPAL AIRPORT THE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED. THE OWNERS REPORTED THAT THE LANDING GEAR HAD RECEIVED MAINTENANCE WITHIN THE PREVIOUS 3 MONTHS. THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE WAS CONFIRMED IN THE GEAR DOWN POSITION. THE CIRCUIT BREAKER WAS NOT POPPED OUT. THE LANDING GEAR DOORS DID NOT RECEIVE ANY DAMAGE. THIS REPORT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
