## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT LOST POWER TAKEOFF LANDED IN TREES AT END OF AIRPORT. THE PILOT HEAD FUELED AND SUMPED THE AIRCRAFT PRIOR TO FLIGHT. WATER WAS FOUND AND DRAINS WERE SUMPED UNTIL CLEAR FUEL. POST ACCIDENT FOUND WATER AND OTHER BROWN SLUDGE IN HEADER TANK IN POD. AIRCRAFT HAS STC KIT FOR LARGE TIRES AND BIGGER NOSE FORK. THIS CAUSE THE AIRCRAFT TO APPEAR TO SIT LOWER AND MAY HAVE ALLOWED WATAER TO BE FURTHER BACK IN TANK AND NOT ALLOWED TO BE SUMPED OUT BY PILOT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
