(-23) PILOT DEPARTED NORTH LAS VEGAS AFTER LUNCH AND WHILE HE WAS ENROUTE TO THE GYR AIRPORT HE STARTED FEELING SOME DISCOMFORT FROM STOMACH CRAMPS. INITIALLY THE PILOT THOUGHT HE COULD MAKE IT TO GYR AND APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES LATER HE REALIZED THAT HE WOULD NEED TO MAKE A LANDING PRIOR TO HIS DESTINATION. PILOT LANDED AT E25 AND NOTICED THAT THE TRANSIENT RAMP WAS BLOCKED WITH FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT. THE PILOT MANEUVERED TO ANOTHER SPOT WHERE HE HAD TO SPIN THE AIRCRAFT INTO THE PARKING SPOT WHERE STRUCK A FIXED LIGHTPOLE. THE AIRCRAFT HAD MINOR DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT WING TIP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
