As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT STATED THAT HE GROUND LOOPED THE PIPER L-21B WHILE LANDING ON RUNWAY 28 AT THE BEAVER COUNTY AIRPORT (BVI). WINDS WERE 360 DEGREES AT 9 KNOTS; A DIRECT CROSSWIND. ADDITIONALLY, PILOT STATED THAT HE DID NOT EXPERIENCE ANY MECHANICAL PROBLEMS WITH THE AIRPLANE THAT MAY HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE GROUND LOOP. FURTHER INVESTIGATION BY THIS OFFICE REVEALED THAT THE BRAKE SYSTEM FUNCTIONED NORMALLY. SUBMISSION OF THIS 8020-23 CLOSES THIS ACCIDENT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
