## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JUNE 24, 2009, AT 1000 EDT, A CESSNA 140, N76655, REGISTERED TO THE MECHANIC/PILOT/OPERATOR: ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, GROUND LOOPED WHILE PERFORMING A HIGH SPEED TAXI AT THE GILLMER AIRPORT (KJXI), GILLMER TEXAS TO TEST MAINTENANCE WORK PERFORMED ON THE TAIL WHEEL. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME; A FLIGHT PLAN HAD NOT BEEN FILED AS THE OPERATION WAS NOT INTENDED FOR FLIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED AND THE SOLE OCCUPANT WAS NOT INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
