DURING THE LANDING ATTEMPT, THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO FLOAT. THE PILOT ANTICIPATED A HARD LANDING AND INCREASED THROTTLE CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO BALLOON. AT THAT POINT THE STALL HORN BEGAN TO SOUND AND THE AIRCRAFT STARTED TO DRIFT LEFT. THE PILOT PUSHED THE NOSE FORWARD CAUSING THE RIGHT HAND MAIN WHEEL TO CONTACT THE GROUND AND THE AIRCRAFT TO TURN TO THE LEFT. THE AIRCRAFT THEN LEFT THE RUNWAY SURFACE, TRAVELED ACROSS THE MEDIAN BETWEEN THE RUNWAY AND TAXIWAY, CROSSED THE TAXIWAY AND CAME TO REST IN A DITCH PARALLEL TO THE TAXIWAY. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE PROP, NOSE GEAR, WINGS, AND RUDDER. THE PILOT EXITED THE AIRCRAFT UNASSISTED AND SUSTAINED NO INJURIES.
