## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT STATED THAT HE COMPLETED HIS CHECKLIST AND WAS CLEARED TO LAND. HE SAID THAT HE VERIFIED THAT THE GEAR SHOWED GREEN BUT THE SUN WAS BRIGHT ON THE PANEL AND THE GEAR LIGHT MAY HAVE LOOKED LIKE IT WAS ILLUMINATED. THERE WAS NO AUDIO WARNING WHEN THE POWER WAS REDUCED. AFTER TOUCHDOWN THE GEAR COLLAPSED. IT WAS FOUND THAT THE LANDING GEAR DRIVE MOTOR HAD TRIPPED THE CIRCUIT BREAKER. HIS PASSENGER ALSO STATED THAT THE GEAR WAS DOWN BEFORE LANDING AND COLLAPSED AFTER LANDING. HE SAID THAT THE TOWER CONTROLLER TOLD HIM THAT HE VERIFIED THAT THE GEAR WAS DOWN BEFORE LANDING.
