## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE AIRCRAFT TOOK OFF ON RUNWAY 33 AND NEVER LEFT GROUND EFFECT. THE AIRCRAFT FLEW INTO THE CORN FIELD AT THE END OF THE RUNWAY AND FLIPPED OVER. WITNESSES INDICATED THE ENGINE RPM SEEMED NORMAL AND LIFTOFF WAS IN THE NORMAL LOCATION. THE PILOT STATED THAT THERE WAS 170 GALLONS OF CHEMICAL AND 80 GALLONS OF FUEL ON BOARD. THE MOST CURRENT WEIGHT AND BALANCE RECORD THAT WAS IN THE AIRCRAFT RECORDS, DATED 06/19/2009, INDICATED THAT THE EMPTY WEIGHT WAS 3093.8 LBS. CALCULATING THE FUEL AND CHEMICAL WEIGHT, IT WAS DETERMINED THE AIRCRAFT WEIGHT WAS APPROXIMATELY 5178.3 LBS. THE TYPE CERTIFICATE DATA SHEET SHOWS MAX. WEIGHT IS 4500 LBS. RECORDS REVIEW DOES NOT INDICATE ANY MODIFICATIONS OR TESTS TO INCREASE THE MAXIMUM GROSS WEIGHT. ACCORDING TO THE AIRPORT MANAGE, THE TEMPERATURE WAS 74 DEGREES, THE DEW POINT WAS 71 DEGREES WITH VERY HIGH HUMIDITY, AND THE FOG HAD JUST DISSIPATED PRIOR TO THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTING. THE ENGINE WAS PRODUCING POWER WHEN IT IMPACTED THE GROUND.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
