## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE AIRCRAFT LANDED IN THE LAST 2/3'S OF RW-32 AT FINLEYVILLE AIRPORT (G05). UPON LANDING ROLL-OUT AT 35-45 MPH, THE PILOT LOST CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AND THE AIRCRAFT VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY TO THE LEFT AND COLLIDED WITH A STEEL HANGAR DOOR. THE HANGAR IS APPROXIMATELY 200 FEET FROM THE RUNWAY. THE LEFT WINGSTRUCK THE STEEL DOOR FIRST, AND THEN THE AIRCRAFT FLIPPED OVER WITH THE NOSE AND PROPELLER STRIKING THE STEEL DOOR, COMING TO REST ON THE GROUND. WHEN THE AIRCRAFT FLIPPED, THE FUSELAGE BUCKLED BEHIND THE PILOT COMPARTMENT AND THE RIGHT WING, VERTICAL FIN, AND THE RIGHT HORIZONTAL STABILIZER STRUCK THE STEEL DOOR. THERE WERE NO SKID MARKS FRO THE RUNWAY TOTHE POINT OF IMPACT. THE BRAKES WERE CHECKED AND VERIFIED TO BE WORKING. THE PILOT DOESN'T REMEMBER USING THE BRAKES TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT. DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER INDICATES THAT THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING AT THE TIME OF IMPACT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
