THE PILOT TRIED REPEATEDLY TO EXTEND AND EXTRACT THE LDG AND RESET THE ABOVE MENTION CIRCUIT BRAKER (C/B) BUT THE LDG FAILED TO RETRACT OR COMPLETELY ENTEND FOR DID THE C/B FAILED TO REMAIN CLOSED. THE PILOT TRIED TO EXTEND LDG VIA THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION BUT THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION KNOB COULD NOT BE ACTIVATED - THE PILOT STATED THE KNOB COULD NOT BE PULLED OUT. FOR THE NEXT HOUR, THE PILOT FLEW THE AIRCRAFT TO REDUCE THE ONBOARD FUEL LOAD AND DURING THIS TIME, THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO ALMOST COMPLETELY RETRACT THE PARTIALLY EXTENDED LDG. AGAIN, THE PILOT TRIED TO EXTEND THE LDG VIA THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION BUT AGAIN, THE EMERGENCY EXTENSION KNOB COULD NOT BE ACTIVATED. THE PIOT DECIDED TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT IN THIS CONFIGURATION. From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
