## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHILE FLYING AT CRUISE, THE PILOT REPORTED A DROP IN FUEL PSI AND DECIDED TO RETURN TO THE NEAREST AIRPORT. THE PILOT STATED AFTER CONTINUING TO LOOSE FUEL PSI AND POWER HE DECIDED TO MAKE AN OFF-AIRPORT LANDING. THE AIRCAFT LANDED IN A FARM FIELD WITH GEAR-UP AND OBTAINED MINOR DAMAGE. IT IS PLANNED TO FURTHER DETERMINE WHY THE ENGINE STOPPED PRODUCING POWER AND A M OR D REPORT WILL BE COMPLETED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
