## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER LANDING ON GRASS RUNWAY, PARALLEL TO RUNWAY 7, PILOT PROCEEDED TO TAXI ON GRASS RUNWAY WHEN AIRCRAFT ENTERED AN AREA OF SOFT GROUND AND GROUND LOOPED AIRCRAFT. SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO LEFT WING, RIGHT WING, AND RUDDER. PILOT DID NOT REPORT ACCIDENT TO NTSB NOR DID NOT FILE A REPORT WITH THE NTSB AS REQUIRED UNDER NTSB RULE 830.5

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA09CA548](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA09CA548), Sep 13, 2009: Piper PA-20 (N7705K), Herlong, FL, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s improper visual lookout while taxing on soft terrain.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
