## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

IN AN EXPERIMENTAL MARKET SURVEY TURBINE POWERED AIRPLANE, ON APPROACH TO RUNWAY PILOT LOWERED THE LANDING GEAR CONTROL. HE BECAME DISTRACTED AND DID NOT NOTICE THAT THE GEAR DID NOT ACTUATE. AFTER THE LANDING FLAIR THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED ONTO THE RUNWAY AND SLIDE TO A STOP. PILOT, WIFE, AND DAUGHTER ONBOARD RECEIVED NO INJURIES. POST LANDING INSPECTON SHOWED THAT THE ELECTRICALLY DRIVEN LANDING GEAR MOTOR DID NOT WORK. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED LITTLE DAMAGE TO FUSELAGE SKIN. MAJORITY OF THE SLIDE WAS ABSORBED BY THE FLAP HINGE ARMS AND THE FLAP TRAILING EDGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
