## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOTS STATED THAT THEY TOUCHED DOWN ON RUNWAY 05 IN SAVOONGA AND THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO DRIFT TO THE RIGHT. THE CAPTAIN ADDED POWER ON THE RIGHT ENGINE TO CORRECT. THE AIRCRAFT THEN DRIFTED TO THE RIGHT AGAIN AND THE PILOTS WERE UNABLE TO CORRECT THE AIRCRAFT SLID THROUGH A RUNWAY LIGHT DOWN AN EMBANKEMENT AND CAME TO REST OFF THE RUNWAY IN A MARSH. THE NORTH SIDE OF THE RUNWAY WAS CLOSED REDUCING THE RUNWAY WIDTH TO 70 FEET; WINDS WERE OUT OF THE NORTH GUSTING TO 33 KNOTS WITH A CROSSWIND COMPONENT OF 21 KNOTS. FURTHER INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THE RIGHT MAIN TIRE FAILED DURING THE ROLLOUT RESULTING IN A LOSS OF CONTROL. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE. NO INJURIES. PTRS #200903142
