As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 09/27/2009 AT 1910 HRS AIRCRAFT N190JS, CESSNA 195, WHILE LANDING AT KINGMAN AIRPORT IN ARIZONTA ON RUNWAY 21 EXPERIENCED A RIGHT SIDE FIXED GEAR COLLAPSE. UPON GROUND IMPACT RIGHT TIRE ASSEMBLY WAS SHEARED OFF FROM GEAR ATTACH POINT AND EXITED RUNWAY APPROXIMATELY 800 FEET AWAY. FIXED GEAR THEN IMPACTED GROUND CAUSING GEAR TO COLLAPSE AND PENETRATE THE FUSELAGE AND FLOOR BOARD AREA. AIRCRAFT THEN GROUND LOOPED AND CAME TO REST APPROXIMATELY 238 FEET FROM IMPACT POINT AND IN A 180 DEGREE POSITION. PROPELLER STRUCK RUNWAY NUMEROUS TIMES BUT ENGINE CONTINUED TO RUN UNTIL PILOT SHUT DOWN AT RESTING POINT. DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT FUSELAGE, RIGHT WING AND INTERIOR FLOOR BOARD ARE SUBSTANTIAL. WIND WAS 11 KNOTS 30 DEGREES OFF RIGHT NOSE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR09CA468](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR09CA468), Sep 28, 2009: Cessna 195 (N190JS), Kingman, AZ, substantial damage. Probable cause: Failure of the right landing gear wheel attachment bolts.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
