A WITNESS TO THE ACCIDENT WATCHED THE AIRCRAFT FLY INTO THE GROUND AT A LOW ANGLE, HE THEN ALERTED AUTHORITIES AND WENT TO THE SCENE. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE HAD DOZED OFF AND THAT THERE WERE NO MECHANICAL DIFFICULTIES WITH THE AIRCRAFT.THE GARDEN COUNTY SHERIFF STATED THAT DURING THE COURSE OF HIS INVESTIGATION, INFORMATION THAT HE RECEIVED GAVE HIM REASON TO BELIVE THAT THE PILOT HAD BEEN INTOXICATED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
