HE TURNED THE ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP BACK ON AND RETURNED TO KFMN TO LAND. IN THE PATTERN, HE EXTENDED THE GEAR AND THE GEAR FAILED TO COMPLETELY EXTEND. HE COMMUNICATED WITH THE FMN TOWER AND WAS TOLD THAT THE GEAR WERE PARTIALLY EXTENDED. HE DEPARTED THE PATTERN, SLOWED THE AIRCRAFT DOWN AND TRIED TO MANUALLY EXTEND THE GEAR. ON TOUCH DOWM, THE GEAR RETRACTED. THE PILOT WAS THE SOLE OCCUPANT AND RECEIVED NO INJURIES. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE UNDERCARRIAGE, GEAR AND PROPELLER.
