## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT CLEARED BY CCR ATCT FOR TAKEOFF ON RUNWAY 32R. PILOT DEPARTED NORMALLY, WHEN AT 400 FEET AGL THE DOOR WARNING ILLUMINATED AND THE CARGO SEPARATED FROM THE AIRCRAFT APPROXIMATELY 15 SECONDS LATER. INTERVIEW WITH THE PILOT REVEALED THAT THE CHECKLIST AND PREFLIGHT PROCEDURES WERE FOLLOWED. ON ENGINE START AND TAXI OUT THERE WAS NO COCKPIT INDICATION OF A DOOR WARNING. THE DOOR WARNING ILLUMINATION OCCURRED AT 400 FEET AGL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
