## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT REPORTED THAT DURING TAKEOFF FROM RUNWAY 22 HE LIFTED THE TAIL AND THE AIRPLANE IMMEDIATELY VEERED TO THE LEFT. HE STATED THAT IT CONTINUED LEFT EVEN WITH FULL APPLICATION OF RIGHT RUDDER AND IS UNSURE OF WETHER HE CAUSED IT BY UNCONSCIOUSLY PRESSING ON THE LEFT TOE BRAKE. REALIZING HE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO KEEP THE AIRPLANE ON THE RUNWAY HE RETARDED THE TROTTLE AND BEGAN BRAKING AS THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY STRIKING A DITCH AND DIRT BERM. BOTH MAIN LANDING GEARS WERE SEPARATED AT THE STRUT WITH NO STRUCTUAL DAMAGE TO THE WINGS, FLIGHT CONTROLS OR FUSELAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
