## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

CHATAUQUA AIRLINES FLIGHT 3055, AN EMB145LR, N258JQ, DIVERTED AND LANDED ON RUNWAY 1L AFTER REPORTING A CARGO FIRE INDICATION WHILE ENROUTE FROM WASHINGTON-REAGAN TO GREENSBORO, NC. AFTER PASSENGERS WERE SAFELY EVACUATED PILOT AND F/O INSPECTED THE CARGO COMPARTMENT AND FOUND NO INDICATION OF A FIRE.MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND ALSO FOUND NO EVIDENCE OF A FIRE. THE CARGO FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM WAS T/S PER 145 FIM 26-15-00-810-805A AND MULTIPLE OPS CHECKS WERE PERFORMED. HOWEVER, NO FAULTS WERE FOUND. AS A PRECAUTION, BOTH #1 AND #2 BAGGAGE SMOKE DETECTORS, #2 DAU, AND BOTH BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT FIRE EXTINGUISHERS WERE REPLACED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
