## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PIC STATED THAT WINDS WERE 110 DEGREES AT 02 KTS AS REPORTED BY AWOS. PIC ELECTED TO LAND ON RWY 29 RATHER THAN RWY 11 DUE TO SUN GLARE.PIC STATED THAT HE WAS MAKING A NORMAL, FULL STALL, 3-POINT LANDING. THE AIRPLANE STALLED APPROXIMATELY 6" TO 12" ABOVE THE RUNWAY, TOUCHED DOWN AND BOUNCED SLIGHTLY. ON THE SECOND TOUCHDOWN THE AIRCRAFT STARTED VEERING TO THE LEFT AND PROGRESSED INTO A GROUND LOOP. THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED CAUSING THE PROPELLER, ENGINE COWLING, RIGHT WINGTIP AND RIGHT HORIZONTAL STABILIZER TO CONTACT THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST APPROXIMATELY 500' FROM THE INITIAL TOUCHDOWN POINT, 20' SOUTH OF THE RUNWAY AND HAD ROTATED 200 DEGREES TO THE RUNWAY HEADING. PIC STATED THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS WITH THE AIRCRAFT AND THAT HE LOST CONTROL.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
