## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

UPON COMPLETION OF 1.4 HOURS OF FAR PART 133 EXTERNAL LOAD TRAINING, BELL 206 L-1, N177PA, LANDED ON A LEVEL DRY DIRT SURFACE. THE FLIGHT CONTROLS WERE CENTERED/NEUTRALIZED AND COLLECTIVE AND CYCLIC FRICTION WAS APPLIED. BOTH PILOTS EXITED THE AIRCRAFT AND INSURED THAT THE LONG LINE HAD RELEASED FROM THE CARGO HOOK, AND WAS CLEAR OF THE AIRCRAFT INCLUDING THE SKIDS. BOTH PILOTS THEN RE-ENTERED THE AIRCRAFT AND THE COLLECTIVE AND CYCLIC FRICTIONS WERE RELEASED, AND THE THROTTLE WAS INCREASED TO FULL RPM PRIOR TO TAKE-OFF. PILOT AGERIS WAS ON THE CONTROLS AS THE PILOT FLYING, AND HE STATED THAT A NORMAL LIFT OFF WAS INITIATED. IMMEDIATELY AFTER LIFT OFF, A RIGHT ROLLING MOTION OCCCURRED WHEREIN THE RIGHT SKID BECMAE A PIVOT POINT, AND THE AIRCRAFT THEN EXCEEDED THE CRITICAL ANGLE. THE PILOT ON THE CONTROLS (ARGERIS) IMMEDIATELY APPLIED FULL LEFT CYCLIC, AND FULL DOWN COLLECTIVE IN ORDER TO STOP THE ROLLING MOTION. PIC (DIMOND)ALSO ASSISTED WITH THESE CONTROL I NPUTS, HOWEVER THE AIRCRAFT WAS ALREADY AT, OR EXCEEDING THE CRITICAL ANGLE, AND NO CONTROL INPUTS WOULD HAVE CONTEREACTED THE DYNAMIC ROLLOVER CONDITION.
