## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STUDENT PILOT ON A PRESOLO FLIGHT TEST DURING LANDING FLARE YANKED THE FLIGHT CONTROL TOO FAST AT LOW SPEED STALLING THE AIRCRAFT. THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR DID NOT TIMELY RECOVER FROM THIS UNUSUAL ATTITUDE ALLOWING THE AIRCRAFT TO CRASH ON THE RUNWAY. NO INJURIES REPORTED. FLIGHT INTRUCTOR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE, NEWLY CERTIFICATED AND NEW TO THE STUDENT THAT WAS DUE FOR A PRE SOLO TEST WERE CONTRIBUTING FACTORS TO THE ACCIDENT. THIS INSTRUCTOR WAS TEMPORARILY SUBSTITUTING THE ORIGINAL ONE THAT COULD NOT ATTEND THE LESSON.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
