## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N906XJ, CL-600-2D24, OPERATED BY MESABA AIRLINES AS NORTHWEST AIRLINK FLIGHT 3574 DEPARTED OMAHA, NE, ENROUTE TO MEMPHIS, TN. THE AIRPLANE RETURNED TO OMAHA DUE TO A GEAR WARNING LIGHT AFTER TAKEOFF.THE CREW REPORTED THAT THEY RECEIVED A GEAR DISAGREE INDICATION UPON GEAR RETRACTION ALONG WITH A NOSE WHEEL STEERING DISCONNECT INDICATION. MAINTENANCE FOUND THAT THE NOSEWHEEL STEERING MESSAGE NO LONGER WAS DISPLAYED AND DID NOT APPEAR IN THE FAULT HISTORY. THE GEAR WAS MEL'D PER MEL 32-30-1A AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS FLOWN TO A COMPANY MAINTENANCE BASE.COMPANY MECHANICS CHANGED THE LANDING GEAR CONTROL VALVE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
