## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT WAS CLEARED TO TAXI EAST ON ALPHA AND HOLD SHORT OF RUNWAY 18. BECAUSE OF THE TAXI SPEED APPROACHING 18, THE CONTROLLER REMINDED MR. ENGSTROM TO HOLD SHORT OF RUNWAY 18. THE PILOT APPLIED ENOUGH BRAKE PRESSURE TO STOP THE WHEELS SHORT OF THE HOLD SHORT LINES HOWEVER, THE AIRCRAFT TIPPED ONTO ITS NOSE, STRUCK THE PROP, AND CAME TO REST PAST THE HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RUNWAY 18. THE VISIBILITY WAS > 8SM, AND NO PART OF THE AIRCRAFT WAS ACTUALLY TOUCHING THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
