## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE SUBJECT PILOT WHILE LANDING THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED THE LEFT MAIN GEAR DOWN FIRST FOLLOWED BY THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR. PRIOR TO LANDING THE PILOT HAD ADJUSTED RIGHT RUDDER FOR LEFT WIND. WINDS WERE REPORTED 200@5-10 KNOTS.AS HE GOT CLOSER TO THE LANDING HE NEEDED LESS WIND CORRECTION. ONCE BOTH WHEELS WERE ON THE GROUND, THE PLANE JERKED TO THE LEFT, POINTING 45-50 DEGREES TO THE LEFT. RIGHT MAIN GEAR TRAILING ARM PIVOT PIN WAS BENT AND GEAR LOWER HOUSING INCURRED LARGE CRACKS. THE PILOT DID NOT DISCOVER THESE IRREGULARITIES DURING HIS POST FLIGHT INSPECTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
