## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT ROME GA. (KRMG) ON DECEMBER 22, 2009 @ 2045 LOCAL TIME, PILOT WAS PERFORMING TAKEOFF AND LANDINGS FOR HIS NIGHT PROFICIENCY CHECK DURING THE EVENING HOURS, HE HAD COMPLETED HIS FIRST TAKEOFF AND LANDING, AND THE PILOT HAD TAKEN OFF FOR HIS SECOND LANDING, HE WAS IN HIS SECOND SEQUENCE FOR LANDING AND FELT HE WAS TOO FAST, HE THEN RETARDED THE THROTTLE, THE AIRCRAFT WAS NEAR THE GROUND, AND THAT IS WHEN THE PILOT HEARD THE LANDING GEAR EXTEND WARNING HORN SOUND, AND IT WAS TOO LATE, HE LANDED GEAR UP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
