## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT HAD A NORMAL TAKE-OFF ROLL DEVELOPING FULL POWER. ON CLIMB-OUT, THE AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED A REDUCTION IN POWER. THE PILOT MADE A RIGHT TURN TO AVOID TREES, AND BECAUSE OF CONTINUED REDUCED POWER DECIDED TO LAND IN A CORN FIELD. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN AND THE LH LANDING GEAR AND NOSE GEAR BROKE OFF THE AIRCRAFT. BOTH WING TIPS STRUCK THE GROUND DURING THE LANDING.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ERA10LA104](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ERA10LA104), Jan 1, 2010: Cessna 150G (N4026J), Doylestown, PA, substantial damage. Probable cause: A partial loss of engine power due to carburetor icing.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
