## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT N2949M BEGAN TAKEOFF ROLL ON RUNWAY 07R AT11:14. AT APPROXIMATELY 500 FEET ROLLOUT THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO ROTATE OVERCENTER ONTO ITS NOSE. THE AIRCRAFT PROPELLER STRUCK THE RUNWAY, THE PILOT KILLED POWER, AND THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ON ITS PROPELLER SPINNER. PILOT CONTACTED TOWER, GOT OUT OF THE AIRCRAFT, SAT THE AIRCRAFT BACK ON ITS TAIL WHEEL, AND TAXIED THE AIRCRAFT TO SOUTH RAMP PARKING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
