## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING LANDING ROLLOUT ON RUNWAY 30 AT THE DELAND AIRPORT, AIRCRAFT N306GD, SERIAL NUMBER 001 FLIPPED AND CAME TO REST IN AN INVERTED POSITION ON THE GRASS NEXT TO THE TAXIWAY. THE PROPELLER, ENGINE, ENGINE COWLING, WING CENTER SECTION, RIGHT WING TIP, AND THE LEFT WHEEL ASSEMBLY FAIRING WAS DAMAGED WHEN THE AIRCRAFT CAME IN CONTACT WITH THE GROUND. THE PILOT, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ STATED THAT HE TIRED TO CORRECT FOR CROSSWINDS DURING LANDING ROLLOUT WHEN HIS RIGHT FOOT BECAME HUNG BETWEEN THE RIGHT RUDDER PEDAL AND THE SMOKE GENERATING SYSTEM OIL TANK. HE TRIED TO APPLY OPPOSITE RUDDER AND BREAK FORCE TO COUNTERACT THE FORCE BEING APPLIED BY HIS RIGHT FOOT ON THE RUDDER PEDAL. THE FORCE CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO HEAD IN THE DIRECTION OF A RUNWAY SIGN. HE INTENTIONALLY GROUND LOOP THE AIRCRAFT TO AVOID HITTING THE SIGN.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
