## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER A CROSS COUNTRY FLIGHT OF 167 MILES, THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO LAND AT T82, RUNWAY 32, IN THE DARK WITH WINDS THAT HAD GUST PROJECTED UP TO 18 KTS (FOR THAT TIME FRAME). DURING TOUCHDOWN HE NOTED THE AIRCRAFT DRIFTING LEFT, HE ATTEMPTED TO STAY ON THE RUNWAY AND WAS US UNABLE TO DO SO. AT THAT TIME HE COMMENTS TO DO A GO AROUND, NOTICED THAT THE AIRCRAFT WOULD NOT BECOME AIRBORNE AGAIN WITH FULL POWER. REDUCED POWER TO IDLE AND APPLIED BRAKES TILL THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A HALT. AIRCRAFT CAME TO A FULL STOP AFTER HITTING THE LEFT WING SPINNING THE AIRCRAFT 180 DEGREES.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN10CA104](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN10CA104), Jan 16, 2010: Cirrus SR22 (N155SR), Fredericksburg, TX, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control during landing, and his failure to properly execute a go-around.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
