## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

CAPTAIN STATED THAT AT APPROXIMATELY 50 KTS ON THE TAKE-OFF ROLL, SMOKE STARTED TO EMIT FROM THE COCKPIT VENTS AND SMOKE ALARM WARNINGS SOUNDED. THE TAKE-OFF WAS ABORTED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS EVACUATED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES DURING THE EVACUATION. THE CAPTAIN STATED THAT THE SMOKE DISSIPATED AS SOON AS THE CABIN DOORS WERE OPENED. COMPANY MAINTENANCE PERFORMED ENGINE RUNS IN ALL BLEED CONFIGURATIONS AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. MAINTENANCE SUSPECTS THAT DE-ICE FLUID MAY HAVE ENTERED THROUGH THE A/C ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEM AS THE CAUSE. THIS DISCREPANCY WAS PROPERLY CLEARED IN THE AIRCRAFT FLIGHT LOG. ALL NECESSARY NOTIFICATIONS AND FORM SUBMITTALS REQUIRED BY 14 CFR PART 121 WILL BE MADE BY THE AIR CARRIER TO THEIR CMO/CMU.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
