## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FEBRUARY 17, 2010 AT 1450 PDT , N313DA A ROBINSON R22 HELICOPTER , MADE A FORCED LANDING IN A FIELD NEAR PARLIER, CA. THE COMMERCIAL PILOT STATED THAT HE WAS FLYING STRAIGHT AND LEVEL WHEN SUDDENLY THE HELICOPTER PITCHED FORWARD AND IMMEDIATELY ROLLED INVERTED TO THE RIGHT. THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO REGAIN CONTROL WHEN HE APPLIED AFT CYCLIC AND LOWERED THE COLLECTIVE RECOVERING FROM THE LOW-G MANEUVER AND LANDED THE HELICOPTER IN A FIELD. A ROTOR BLADE ( RED MARKED) STRUCK THE TAIL BOOM AS THE MAIN ROTOR BLADES SLOWED DOWN. . SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE MAIN ROTOR BLADE HUB INDICATED THAT THIS HELICOPTER ENCOUNTERED A LOW-G CONDITION

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
