## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THIS ACCIDENT OCCURED ON THE FIRST FLIGHT OF THE DAY. THE AIR TEMPERTURE WAS APROXIMATELY 35-36 DEGREES AND THERE WAS HIGH MOISTURE IN THE AREA WITH PATCHES OF FROST. THE AIRCRAFT HAD TO BE CLEANED OF FROST BEFORE THE FIRST FLIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS LOADED WITH APPROXIMATELY 2000 POUNDS OF DRY FERTILIZER. DURING TAXI TO THE RUNWAY PILOT CONDUCTED A "ROLLING" RUN-UP CHECK. AFTER LINING UP WITH RUNWAY THE PILOT SLOWLY APPLIED POWER TO NORMAL TAKEOFF SETTINGS DUE TO LOW OIL TEMP AND HIGH OIL PRESSURE. AT MID-FIELD PILOT FELT POWER WAS NOT THERE AND APPLIED FULL POWER. NEAR END OF RUNWAY PILOT PULLED AIRCRAFT OFF RUNWAY AND FOUND IT WAS NOT GOING TO FLY. HE PULLED THROTTLE TO IDLE AND ENGINE DIED. AIRCRAFT LANDED IN VERY SOFT WET PLOWED FIELD APPROXIMATELY 200 YARDS OFF END OF RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT FLIPPED OVER NOSE 1 AND 1/4 TIMES AND ENDED UP ON NOSE AND UPPER WING.
