## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 03-05-2010 A CESSNA 310, N5LH, DEPARTED TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA IN ROUTE TO RICHMOND, VIRGINIA. WHILE LANDING FOR FUEL AT HARTSVILLE, SC THE RIGHT GEAR DID NOT INDICATE A GREEN LIGHT DOWN AND LOCKED. THE PILOT TRIED TO MANUALLY LOWER THE GEAR, BUT THE GEAR CRANK WOULD ONLY MOVE A LITTLE TOWARD THE DOWN POSITION. THE LEFT GEAR AND NOSE GEAR INDICATED DOWN AND LOCKED WITH GREEN LIGHTS. THE PILOT LANDED WITH THE RIGHT GEAR NOT FULLY EXTENDED, ROLLED DOWN THE RUNWAY, WITH THE RIGHT GEAR COLLAPSING AND THE RIGHT PROP STRIKING THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT WAS THE ONLY PERSON ONBOARD AND WAS NOT INJURED. THERE WAS MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND THE THREE BLADES OF THE PROP WERE BENT FORWARD. THE RIGHT GEAR LINKAGE WAS FREE BETWEEN THE RIGHT LANDING GEAR AND THE GEAR BOX. THIS WAS A REPOSSESED AIRCRAFT, REPOSITIONING FLIGHT AND APPROVAL FROM THE BANK COULD NOT BE OBTAINED ON SATURDAY TO REMOVE THE SEATS AND FLOOR PANELS TO INSPECT THE AIRCRAFT. AN A&P MECHANIC IS BASED AT THE AIRPORT. INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT A SECOND TIME ON 03-19-2010. THE RIGHT GEAR WAS SEIZED DUE A LACK OF LUBRICATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
