## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

SHORTLY AFTER ROTATION, GEAR UP WE HEARD A SERIES OF 3-5 LOUD BANGS. THE AIRCRAFT YAWED SHARPLEY TO THE RIGHT AND THE ENGINE WOULD SURGE, WE NOTED THE RH ENGINE ITT WAS INDICATING FULL SCALE AND FLASHING RED. THE CONTROL TOWER NOTIFIED US THAT FIRE AND RESCUE COULD SEE SMOKE COMING FROM THE RH ENGINE. AFTER SHUTDOWN EVACUATED THE PAX OFF TO THE GRASS ADJCENT TO THE RUNWAY. POST FLIGHT INSPECTION ALL ENGINE OIL WAS DEPLETED. FLIGHTCRAFT FROM PDX BOROSCOPED THE ENGINE WHICH REVEALED SIGNIFACANT INTERNAL DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
