## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ACCORDING TO THE PILOT'S STATEMENT: "LOADED AIRCRAFT, AND STARTED ENGINES. CHECKING SYSTEMS...SYSTEMS NORMAL. TAXIED TO RUNWAY AND PROCEDED TO DEPART. EVERYTHING NORMAL UNTIL PRIOR TO REDLINE, THE NOSE DROPPED AND AIRCRAFT CAME TO A SCRAPPING HALT. ACCORDING TO STATEMENTS FROM THE TWO PASSENGERS (ALASKA STATE TROOPERS): ONCE THE MASTER SWITCH WAS SWITCHED "ON" THERE WAS A "BUZZING OR ALARM" SOUND. THE PILOT MADE A COMMENT THAT IT WAS PROBABLY SNOW IN THE STALL WARNING HORN. THE SOUND CONTINUED DURING TAXI AND TAKEOFF, AND THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED, FOLLOWED BY THE MAIN GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP ON THE RUNWAY. THIS REPORT WILL BE AMENDED IF ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INDICATES AIRCRAFT DAMAGE IS "SUSBSTANTIAL" AND WILL BE RECLASSIFIED AS AN ACCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
