## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

UPON LANDING TO THE PETALUMA AIRPORT THE PILOT REPORTED HE WAS A LITTLE FAST AND BOUNCED THE AIRCRAFT DURING LANDING. HE STATED HIS REACTION WAS TO PULL BACK ON THE YOKE, WHICH CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO PITCH UP AND STALL. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED HARD ON THE NOSE LANDING GEAR AND THE GEAR CLASPED CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO VEER OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE PROPELLER STRUCK THE RUNWAY BENDING BOTH BLADES BACK OVER THE ENGINE COWLING. THE PILOT WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL, EXAMINED, AND RELEASED WITH A COMPRESSED SPINE ACCORDING TO THE DOCTOR WHO EXAMINED THE PILOT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
