## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING A SIMULATED EMERGENCY NO POWER APPROACH THE PILOT LANDED LONG, BOUNCED THE LANDING, AND ELECTED TO GO-AROUND. THE AIRCRAFT MAIN GEAR CAUGHT THE AIRPORT FENCE DURING THE CLIMB OUT CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO IMPACT THE GROUND HARD WITH THE MAIN GEAR AND THE LEFT WING TIP. THE LEFT MAIN GEAR DEPARTED THE AIRCRAFT. THE PROP HIT THE GROUND, THE ENGINE EXPERIENCED A SUDDEN STOPAGE AND THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP RIGHT SIDE UP.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
