## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

A SHORT BROTHERS SD3-30 N106SW WAS CLEARED BY SJU CONTROL TO LAND LONG ON RUNWAY 10. THIS AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH THE LANDING GEARS IN THE FULL UP POSITION, THE MAIN LANDING GEAR TIRE EXTENDS SLIGHTLY, WHICH TOUCHED DOWN ON THE RUNWAY, FOLLOWED BY THE NOSE GEAR FUSELAGE, (NOSE LANDING GEAR NEVER EXTENDED) WHICH STRUCK TO THE RUNWAYS AND SKIDDED APPROXIMATELY 2000 FEET, AND STOPPED. THE AIRCRAFT INITIAL INSPECTION VERIFIED THAT THE GEAR WAS UP AND LOCKED, AND THE AUDIBLE WARNING HORN WAS OPERABLE. THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION HANDLE, LOCATED IN THE UPPER CONSOLE WAS IN THE RETRACTED POSITION INDICATING THAT NO EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR EXTENSION PROCEDURES WERE INITIATED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
