## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

EXECUTIVE AIRLINES CREW OPERATING AMERICAN EAGLE AIRLINES FLIGHT 4723 (LAW-DFW) REPORTED THAT DURING ITS APPROACH INTO DFW AT APPROXIMATELY 3000 FT THEY HEARD A LOAD BANG. AFTER LANDING IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR (MLG) LOWER FOLDING DOOR HAD SEPERATED FROM THE AIRCRAFT, STRUKE AND BROKE A PASSENGER WINDOW (INNER AND OUTER). AMERICAN EAGLE REPLACED THE BROKEN PASSENGER WINDOW AT SEAT 11D AND A SCRATCHED WINDOW AT 12D, PUT ON CDL THE DOOR SEALS AND FOLDING DOORS. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE ON THE SAME DAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
